The Director of Clinical Services (RN) is responsible for the daily oversight of clinical service delivery, staffing management, training and ongoing regulatory compliance throughout the organization. This role is routinely in the field, managing the Regional Nursing team ensuring company-wide service delivery and regulatory compliance. Conducts assurance reviews to identify areas requiring increased focus in all communities, thus preventing citations during annual surveys, routine DSS monitoring and complaint investigations. Ensures overall compliances and compliance tracking are maintained throughout the Carillon communities in regards to the rules and regulations governing assisted living in the State of NC as well as Carillon policies and procedures. Oversees training of Regional Nurses, Facility nurses and care team including new facility opening training.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a minimum of an Associate Degree in nursing with a current registered nursing license in the state of North Carolina without restrictions.
Prefer four years supervisory experience in the long term care setting with a minimum of two years in extended quality assurance role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated interest in working with a senior population.
Knowledge of community agencies and appreciation for social/life history status of the residents.
Ability to travel to all communities in North Carolina required.
